Best experience with a Lawyer I have had, successfully allowed me to get my Digital Nomad residence in Brazil. I applied with her for the Brazil digital nomad visa from in-country as a US Citizen with W2 employment. Camila is an expert, very diligent, and responsive. Feels like a personal service in comparison to other experiences I have had with immigration attorneys in other countries. I will reuse Camila for my renewal or changing my residency type. I am happy to have found a fair and trustworthy lawyer here in Brazil! I highly recommend Camila (and GetBrazilVisa) for all immigration matters in Brazil. Thanks Camila!!

I can’t recommend Camila highly enough. Her rates were extremely reasonable, and the level of care, responsiveness, and professionalism she provided was exceptional. I initially hired her to help me obtain a Digital Nomad Visa, but during the process I decided to switch to a Family Visa and apply for residency instead. Even though the scope of the work changed, she remained just as attentive and supportive throughout. In fact, I felt compelled to pay her more than our original agreement because I was so impressed with the value she provided. Camila kept my applications organized, ensured everything was filed on time, secured and prepared me for my appointments with the Federal Police, and made sure I had every document I could possibly need. Thanks to her, I successfully obtained both my visitor visa extension and my resident visa. She even went above and beyond by covering my appointment fees when I couldn’t pay with PIX as a foreigner. This was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a lawyer. Camila genuinely cares about her clients and stands with you every step of the way. If you need immigration assistance in Brazil, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

I moved to Brazil from Denmark on the digital nomad visa in October of 2025 with the help of Camila. She was very professional and even when I had to delay my arrival she accomodated and made sure I was taken care of. From preparing my documents to getting my Brazilian ID card, she helped me with every step. Thank you!

without the help of camila and her legal team, I surely would have failed this visa process. The forms and requirements, And all the documents are so complicated you really need a legal advisor to help you do it correctly. I wish I had hired her at the start of the application instead of halfway through.

I was working from USA running my company and wanted to try a year in Brazil. The digital nomad visa process looked manageable on paper but once I started dealing with getting my documents apostilled through the DVV and figuring out what the Brazilian consulate actually needed, I hit a wall. Camila sorted everything out and was super patient with my million questions. If you plan on moving to Brazil, I highly recommend their service.

### What exactly am I getting with Full Service?

One package, one payment: \*\*$599, paid once when you sign.\*\* The price is the same whether you apply in Brazil (MigranteWeb) or abroad (consulate). Our licensed lawyer is your primary support and reviews your application. We guide you from the start on how to prepare your documents (~5hrs of lawyer support), submit the application to MigranteWeb for you (or liaise with the consulate), monitor status daily, and help fix any immigration rejections.

### What is MigranteWeb?

MigranteWeb is Brazil's official government portal for visa applications. It's notoriously complex with 100+ required fields and strict document requirements. Our platform helps you prepare everything correctly, but someone still needs to actually submit the application through MigranteWeb. With Full Service, our Brazilian lawyers do this for you.

### Why would I pay $599 when MigranteWeb is free?

While MigranteWeb is free to use, applications filed on your own are often sent back for document errors, and every round costs time. Our lawyer reviews your application and closes the gaps that get self-filed submissions rejected. For a flat $599, paid once, you get: • Lawyer guides you from scratch on document prep • We submit on MigranteWeb for you • Daily status monitoring • Help interpreting and fixing any immigration rejections • Case chat with Camila, same-day replies

### How long does the Brazil digital nomad visa take to process?

With GetBrazilVisa Full Service, the average processing time is 30 days from submission to approval.

### Who reviews my documents before submission?

Camila, your lawyer, reviews every document before anything is submitted. She checks for the common issues that cause 30% of rejections: • Blurry or low-resolution scans • Missing apostille stamps • Expired documents (passport, criminal record, insurance) • Documents not in required format (must be PDF) • File sizes over 5MB limit • Missing signatures or dates • Incorrect photo specifications • Documents in wrong language without certified translation

### How is this different from a traditional immigration lawyer?

Traditional immigration lawyers charge $1,000-$1,500 for VITEM XIV applications and still take 2-4 months. GetBrazilVisa has a licensed lawyer review every document for a flat $599, paid once: faster and more affordable than traditional lawyers.

### What is the minimum income for the Brazil digital nomad visa?

You must earn at least $1,500 USD per month OR have savings of at least $18,000 USD. RN 45/2021 sets no fixed per-dependent figure; consulates commonly expect around US$500 per month more per dependent. The income must come from foreign sources - companies or clients outside Brazil.

### Can freelancers apply for the Brazil digital nomad visa?

Yes. Freelancers, independent contractors and remote employees who work for clients or companies outside Brazil can qualify for VITEM XIV. The income has to run through signed contracts with those clients, with a fully remote clause; bank statements and invoices support the contracts but do not replace them. You can combine several contracts to reach US$1,500 a month. A contract with a company is the strongest evidence; contracts with individuals are assessed case by case, depending on the rest of your profile, which is exactly what Camila works through with you when she prepares your application.

### Can I bring my family on the Brazil digital nomad visa?

Yes. You can include dependents (spouse, children, dependent parents) on your application. RN 45/2021 sets no fixed per-dependent figure; consulates commonly expect around US$500/month more per dependent. All dependents need their own documents (passport, criminal background check if over 18, birth/marriage certificates to prove relationship).

### How long is the Brazil digital nomad visa valid?

The initial visa is valid for 1 year. You can renew it for 1 additional year, for a maximum of 2 years total on VITEM XIV. Renewal must be requested through Federal Police before expiration.

### What languages is the platform available in?

The Brazil Visa Prep platform offers multilingual support, including English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, and Turkish.

### How much does GetBrazilVisa Full Service cost?

Full Service is a flat $599, paid once when you sign, and the price is the same for the in-Brazil MigranteWeb route and the consulate route. It includes end-to-end guidance from our lawyer, lawyer review of every document with detailed feedback, MigranteWeb submission on your behalf, rejection handling, daily monitoring, and a direct line to Camila inside your case.

### How long does visa processing take?

With our Full Service plan, average processing is 30 days from complete document submission. Applications filed at a consulate abroad take 4 to 26 weeks, depending on the consulate.

### What are the income requirements for the Brazil digital nomad visa?

You must earn at least $1,500 USD per month OR have savings of $18,000 USD. RN 45/2021 sets no fixed per-dependent figure; consulates commonly expect around US$500/month more per dependent. Income must be from remote work for clients/employers outside Brazil.

**This page is general information, not legal advice.** It explains Brazilian immigration rules as they stood on the date shown, for a general audience. Reading it creates no lawyer-client relationship with Camila Araujo Mota (OAB/CE 50.065) or with GetBrazilVisa, and nobody here has reviewed your situation. Advice you can act on is advice Camila gives you directly in writing, in your own case, after she has seen your documents. Rules, fees, and processing times change without notice and consular practice varies by post, so verify anything you are about to rely on against the official source or ask us before you act.
